Certifications & Upgrade Training

Certifications and upgrades are open to all BAC members in good standing. Classes listed here are offered at the Local 1 Apprentice Training Center and are scheduled based on member interest.

• Certifications: These courses result in a formal certification upon completion, sometimes issued by a third-party vendor (for example, OSHA, CPR/First Aid, or specialized masonry/tile certifications). Certifications verify that you meet a specific industry standard or requirement.
• Upgrade Trainings: These courses focus on building your skills and knowledge beyond the basics of the trade. They do not result in a formal certificate but provide valuable training to help you expand your abilities, keep up with new techniques, and strengthen your career.
