Flashing and Moisture Control

The International Masonry Institutes' (IMI) Flashing and Moisture Control program is taught to the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers (BAC) tradespeople as an upgrade and a certification, required as part of 432 hours of the apprenticeship related training. It is also delivered to architects, engineers, and other key decision makers of the construction industry as a continuing education module.

  • Functions of flashing
  • Types of flashing
  • Components of a flashing system
  • Proper installation of flashing system

This is a 6 hour training including classroom discussion and hands on shop requirements.
