Mentorship Matters: Six Steps to Mentoring

This class is part of our Supervisor Certification Program (SCP) and is open to all journeyworkers and improvers in good standing.

The Mentorship Matters: Six Steps to Mentoring workshop is designed to help develop and enhance your mentoring skills. The six-step approach to mentorship involves communication best practices and techniques for demonstrating skills, evaluating progress, and providing feedback to apprentices. You will gain an increased awareness of what makes an effective mentor, methods for communicating knowledge and skills to apprentices, and other mentorship skills that can be applied immediately on the job with measurable results.

These skills will be taught through written material, group interaction, and working as teams.
